SPELLING DISCREPANCY - PASSPORT

Guys,

Last year I renewed the passport, there is a slight spell difference in the passport of primary applicant and my spouse, the difference is like this 'SRI' and 'SREE', will it cause a problem in future, while processing of the ITA? I m about to submit the documents for ITA. Please advise.
Now its too late for spelling correction, as its not feasible, it has to be changed in the IELTS TRF as well..
