My Father writes his name as Nawaz Akhtar, however I have written his name as Nawaz Akhter in my academic documents, except in my passport where it is written as Nawaz Akhtar. I have heard this can cause problems. Can you please guide me if I should have the spelling of my father's name changed? If so, where should I get it changed?
I was thinking I should get it changed in my passport to Nawaz Akhter as it is in all of my academic documents. But some people have told me you should keep the spelling same as it is in your father's passport. In this case I will have to change the spelling in all my adacemic documents which will be very difficult compared to getting changed in just my passport.
Please guide me if this is a problem and how should it be resolved.
