Good day,

I'm trying to sponsor my wife and my child from the Philippines. I've already submitted the application this past January 2015, but I noticed some mistakes after I submitted the application. 1. The spelling of hes brother's name on the Additional Family Information and supporting documents, is wrong. 2. Both birth place of her brother and sister were also wrong. Are these major mistakes that could deny the application? And if it is, is there any way to contact CIC and inform them about the mistakes and to correct it at the same time? Help Please and Thank you.

Those are not major mistakes,
You will need to wait to get the sponsor approval and
your file number.
When you get the file number you can contact the visa
office in charge of your application and send a new form
and explain that you had a mistake in spelling and dates
and need to rectify....
that's all what you will need to do, buy by now you just
wait, it is not anything that can not be corrected.

@Awsomeg

Thank you.
So, do I send it just like a regular mail or do I need to include my confirmation letter, UCI and application number on the envelope?

Thanks again.

Send the letter with the UCI # or application # and the updated forms which is what I did when some of the information on my forms were wrong and send it via courier, you want to get the documents to the visa office asap, so they can process it as soon as possible, in my opinion i rather spend the 40$ on the next day air then have my application stall and not know if it was delivered via regular mail.
