My spouse is a Canada PR and I'm applying for EE. Since my answer to the question "will your spouse accompany you to Canada" was no, my spouse's situation was not asked anywhere and the spouse score was also 0. Questions:

1. How should I explain my spouse's situation to IRCC?
2. Will there be extra spouse points if my spouse is a Canada PR?

1. You can simply say your spouse already has PR.
