Hi friends,

I'm currently working in Canada and I have a Post Graduate Work Permit valid till December 2018. I intend to apply for a Spousal Open work permit for my wife since her Visitor visa was rejected. My question is about the format for the employment letter since I'm working as a contractor. Does working in a contract role have any impact on the application?
I'd really appreciate if anyone could give me some inputs. :)

Thank you
Rahul

Primarily it should note that you are a full-time employee (30+ hours of work per week). Try to get them to avoid mentioning the end date of your contract. Include 4-5 most recent paystubs, and additionally your bank statement just to reiterate you can support her financially.
