Dear all I am very worried about my husband's spousal open work permit application. We have submitted the application on June 20, 2019 and suddenly got transferred to Etobicoke office in October 2019. PA came Canada on study permit in October 2016 and completed one-academic year program from a private college in December 2017. His study permit was about to expire and to maintain his status, he filled a study permit extension application by getting enrolled in the same college for another one-year program. finally, he got approval of study permit until September 2019. He left the study in-between due to his health issues. and after we decided to apply for spousal open work permit as I am on PGWP and working in the skilled field. we got married in August 2018 and filled SOWP application on June 20, 2019. But the application is still under progress and recently it was transferred to Etobicoke office for further assessment. What can I expect. @legalfalcon Any suggestion based on my profile will be highly appreciated.

Did your husband remain in Canada between his first and second program. It seems as though he was not studying for 1-2 years. Did he attend the second program? What was he doing during that time? Was he in Canada? Where is your husband now and what is his status?
