show everything that your agent said PLUS parents bank statments showing how did they get those money in savings. The savings account of my parents have fair amount of balance that will be used to pay my course fees and living expenses.

you only need the 10,000$ GIC and the payment slip of 1 semester fees....no IT returns and statements are required (according to SPP checklist)
if the document is not listed in the checklist then it is not to be submitted....submitting extra documents will slow your visa process ...it is clearly written on the CIC website.nssnick said:Thats what i was thinking, though it is not required the agent was saying just to make a strong case..its better to attach such supporting documents.

Of course! VO wants to be sure 1. money is not borrowed only to show to them , to get visa and to return money back. 2. money are from legal source. But source of income has to be shown ?? right

Usually it is one year tuition+ living expenses + evidence of future income of sufficient funds coming in the future (business, good job of parents). Or a whole amount for all years of studying and living in Canada.
