Where did they get money: long list of savings?

My parents are retired, mother getting pension, not father. Agent saying to show J-forms (Agricultural land income) + your mothers pension payment order. The total should be above 5 lakh(inr) Or show the present year's income tax return of equivalent sum.

Is this sufficient to show the source of income proof or any other document also needed? The savings account of my parents have fair amount of balance that will be used to pay my course fees and living expenses.

show everything that your agent said PLUS parents bank statments showing how did they get those money in savings.

And, please , guys, do not talk about funds in your local currency. We are talking about Canada, let's talk in CAD. It is not a forum for Pakistani and Indians only.

why agent is asking for statements if you are applying under SPP??

you only need the 10,000$ GIC and the payment slip of 1 semester fees....no IT returns and statements are required (according to SPP checklist)

Thats what i was thinking, though it is not required the agent was saying just to make a strong case..its better to attach such supporting documents.

if the document is not listed in the checklist then it is not to be submitted....submitting extra documents will slow your visa process ...it is clearly written on the CIC website.

Of course! VO wants to be sure 1. money is not borrowed only to show to them , to get visa and to return money back. 2. money are from legal source.

Can you please tell me, how much money one has to show?

How long is your study?

Usually it is one year tuition+ living expenses + evidence of future income of sufficient funds coming in the future (business, good job of parents). Or a whole amount for all years of studying and living in Canada.
