Dear all,

I have accumulated funds close to CAD$ 13,000 and have been keeping this balance for past six months. These funds came to my bank account in one trench 6 months ago. Since the Visa officer requests bank statement of past six months only, hence it would not reflect in the statement, rather a consistent balance. Is it okay if I submit this statement without any gift deed or affidavit? Can he request bank statement of more than 6 month. has any one received such request from visa officer?

i think 6 months statement is fine. no need to show any gift or affidavit older than 6 months.

I have seen cases only where gift deeds are used for Parents.
