Sophia College for Women recognized by WES?

I have received my Bachelor's in Mass Media (BMM) from Sophia College for Women batch 2014-2017.
It says on my final transcript as a degree from the University of Mumbai but the previous semester show marksheets with Sophia College.
I saw a list posted that states University of Mumbai is recognized by the WES but Sophia College for Women is not.
Please suggest what I should understand from this situation.

No need to get confused over this. A lot of info on public groups is not always accurate, and from what you mentioned about Sophia's being unrecognized in contrast to Mumbai Uni being recognized - sounds like some misguided info you got from somewhere, which you should take with a pinch of salt.
My undergrad was the same BMM degree as yourself (same uni too) and as long as your score was above 60% and the degree was completed in the first attempt (preferably with no fails) then WES would definitely grant a positive report
(it did for me)
