I just came to know that it is not a good thing if you indicate in the SOP, that you are willing to stay in Canada after finishing the course and not make it clear that you will come back after that. My application was applied on 17th July, online. Is there any way, that I can send in an updated/second SOP by any chance? I am extremely stressed over it now.

Hi,

Extremely stressed for what? You are free to write anything on a piece of a paper. Your best SOP is your academic mark sheet and your quality admission.

That I didn't indicate that I will come back rather than staying there. I was told this by the applicants, whose applications were rejected for that very reason in the past.

Hi,

And if you 'indicate' that you will come back to your homeland, VO will trust you. Right? All refusal cases have one thing in common & that's "poor academic history/grades/performance" (except refusal based on weak financial 'proof').

Yes, it was strange for me too. I have given a very straight forward and to the point SOP, without any twisted language (as in, to 'indicate' etc). I would have felt awkward if I was trying to deceive the VO. But is there a way that I can resend an updated SOP? I will just state in that I will be coming back to my nation after completing the course?

I dont think so u can do dat..!!
There's no way u can send another sop.
