sop for visa applicationm

hi seniors i am applying for visa . do we need to provide same sop (which we submitted to university application) to the visa application or different one.thanks in advance

You need to show different SOP.
for univ its about your academics and research work but for visa you need to include the employment in your home country after studying in canada,why canada,family background etc.
