you should have at least the sponsor approval. If you haven't, then call CIC on Monday and ask about news.
If you have had the sponsor approval, then your file has been transferred to the VO in charge of Vietnam, and you should be hearing from them.
Good luck,

Hi. So sorry for this my friend.
I assume you do not have a UCI number assigned to you!

Try to log in to e-cas here: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=
In the first selection that says Identification type choose "Receipt No. (IMM 5401)"
Then in the identification Number right below type the number of your payment receipt (form 5401)
Below at "Surname/Family Name:type your Surname
Then "Dateof Birth (your birthday
Then at "Place of Birth:choose your country of birth
and click continue.

I am not sure if this will work for you but you can try it. This way you will see the status of your application whether or not you were approved as a sponsor.

Good luck

Congratulations amigo.

Yes your file is now at the Singapore VO. Your e-cas will not change to "In Process" until they start to work on your file. And you must know that Singapore processing times now stand at 26 months.
Learn the game of patience

Wishing you the best

Hi :)

As Messenger said Singapore VO is currently showing processing time of 26 months... however some people are getting through in less time than that.
You may be interested in a couple of other threads as well...here are two for Singapore

Hi

You must tell the wife and families not to ask all the time ;) as this is a long trip for you and her and after a while is going to be aggravating to have to answer to everyone why the apps are not done yet.
I know a lady here who is in Canada with two very young children and is awaiting her hubby to come and she is in the brinks of murdering anyone :) who will ask her again why it takes so long.

You must keep your self occupied and pray that your VO will approve you fast.

Regards

Agreed. Asking when will not speed up the process. Look up your wait time and assume it will take that long and be patient! Ours took 14 months so you need to be patient!
