Hi Guys,
I have been active in this forum for more than 8 months and this is a wonderful forum to discuss on topics related to Immg to Canada. I went through various threads which helped on how to apply for visa and stuff. Everything went good and we got our visas.
As some of them might be knowing, I and my spouse are both software engineers and we have more than 8 years of experience in a very good world wide identified company(US major). We both resigned and would land in Canada by end of Nov. As I resigned to my current employer, the amount of stress I went threw was high. My wife has a job and suddenly I don't have one.
The stage is set for me, I have an OWP and I have 8 years of experience as software developer and I think I am confident too. But in my mind still I have that doubt of how to succeed in getting a software job in Canada. I have some limitations too. I have a kid who is less than 2 years old. So, I have to support my family by not going out of Vancouver. I am sure they are lot of software engineers in this forum and I would like to hear the strategies and methods I need to follow to be successful finding a job.
