Soft landing - Return to US - Visa stamping

Hello everyone

I need to plan my soft landing post my COPR, however for my return to US, i need to go through visa stamping route.

Can anyone share their experience in terms of which embassy to schedule appointment at, and what is the the average processing time for returning stamped passports in Canada? I am reading on official DHS website where it is listed that it may take up to 60 days for that with the chance of it going into additional 2 months wait if audit is posted.
I would be unable to wait out the 60 day period as my employment in US will be in jeopardy.

Any feedback/experiences/suggestions would be much appreciated.

So you are living in the US , planning on going to Canada to do your landing and figuring out how to return to the US?
If so, are you sure you need US visa stamping? There is something called automatic revalidation which you can use: https://travel.state.gov/content/tr...ces/visa-expiration-date/auto-revalidate.html
