Soft Landing, Change of Status and Automatic Re-Validation Entry

Friends,

I need to know if I am eligible for “Automatic Re-validation”. I am an Indian Citizen and moved to USA on H4 Visa (stamped on passport) in 2014, which is expired in 2016.

I then did change of status to F1 visa in 2015(do not have it stamped on passport), which is valid till Oct 2020. I'm in F1-OPT. So, have valid I-94.

I'm planning to do a Soft Landing in Canada in Feb-2020.

So, can I use “Automatic Re-Validation” to enter USA on my valid I-94(F1 Visa), though my passport has expired H4 stamp?
