Hello,

I don't know much about this but want to know from one who already faced this or are currently facing this....
As we all know if CIC officer needs any more documents in order to process our application they send an requesting email to submit that particular document within xx days. I know that means including Business + non-Business days.

But, if you submitted those documents as soon as possible (say within 2-3 days) which everyone does in order to get your application back in to process. Do CIC officer start processing your application as soon as they receive it.

For Example:
They asked you to submit latest NOC or T4 or PCC within say 60 days and you managed it to reach CPC-Ottawa within 30 days. So, do they still wait for the remaining 30 days from the allotted time and then they start processing file. Or they start processing as once they receive the required documents.

so if you have experience the same situation or facing it currently then plz share your views to this thread.

When they request something with no of days to respond they put something called "Next Due date" - By that moment or day if what is required by VO to assess the application is reached he/she will take further steps . This process implementation help them to review other applications which are on hold and VO effectively can work on those.

None of the above. They do sweeps.

So in your example, the sweep could have been in day 29 and next in day 60 (so basically your effort was null) or the sweep could have happen in day 31 (so your effort was worth it).

To further the answer. CIC works on batch cycles, this implies that by the time they got time to continue your application you must have submitted everything.
