So I have sent my outland Application and now what ?

I have sent it to Mississauga, Ontario on September 7th, 2015 and they received it on September 9th, 2015. Since then I haven't heard anything yet. I know that they take about 57 days to review it but I think they do give you an acknowledgment letter with the Id stating that they have successfully received it. How long does that take? Or am I totally wrong about that?

Please guide.

Yes, the often send an acknowledgement to the sponsor. Either by e-mail, if the sponsor provided them with an e-mail address, or by normal mail. It usually takes about a month after receiving your application before they send it.

As maartenvg mentioned you wont hear back on the AOR almost a month or so after receiveing it. We received out a week before SA

Also keep in mind that not everyone receives AoR even with an email stated on the application.
