So I got the approval of my permanent residency (CORP, Confirmation of Permanent Residence). So do I just go to a Canadian airport before the expiry date with my birth certificate, bank statement, and letters of recommendation from my employers (it's mostly letters stating that I have indeed worked for them that I had already sent to Canada Immigration two yeas ago), and then apply for my PR card?
I read the instruction on the CIC website/approval letter but just wanted a confirmation from those who have done it. What did you do? What did you have to bring?
EDIT: I'm currently outside of Canada and planning to fly to Canada directly. I got my PR through a self-employed persons' program/visa.

Are you in Canada or outside of Canada?

If inside of Canada, you can go to a land border (flagpole), schedule an interview at an office within Canada (can take a while to get an appointment), or leave Canada and land when you return back on an international flight.

If outside of Canada, then you fly to Canada or can go to a land border if you are in the US.

You don't need letters of recommendation from your employers. You don't apply for the PR card yourself. The application is submitted automatically when you land.

OK, thank you for your information. I'm not in US or Canada and I'm planning to fly to Canada directly. So you just need to bring your CORP and birth certificates?

Don't need birth cert. Just need passport, COPR and a list of goods to follow (if any). Good to follow is used if you are having items sent over after you land.
