SLU update after 4.5 months !!!!!

Hey All,
I just got SLU updated on my ECAS.
It states "We started processing your application on March 9, 2015"

How on earth is that possible !!!
Would it mean that the MR was supposed to be sent earlier and never got sent ?

Seniors , please help clarify my doubts !

Congratulations on your SLU.

CIC has changed the policy for updating the SLU. Now they are mentioning the date when CIC Staff picks your file and process your application and issue your PER E-mail.

If it's still confusing you, order GCMS Notes and you can see that date when CIC starts processing your application and will match the date you have mentioned.

Ok Thank you for the update! However what does that mean, if VO started processing (on the day they recieved he file from CIC) does that mean the background check is complete and MR can be expected anytime.

is there a trend which can tell us how long does it normally take after SLU to MR? Also are employment verification and other assessments complete.

Hi Even i got my SLU today which says we started processing your application on 10th February 2015 which is backdated 6 months ..

I hope nothing to worry about

I got medical request last month and did it on 09th October with my whole family. Volume is Rabat
