My husband has an offer of employment and we have been advised that we can apply for visas/complete the necessary paperwork on arrival in Canada for our pre- employment visit in April (we hope to take up residence when he starts in July). Is this a safe option, or should we be completing the documents here before we leave? The company has an HR officer who has advised she will assist with all the necessary form completion and submission but it seems like leaving it to the very last minute... what is the best option? Also we have 2 grown up Children who are likely to want to join us (one within 12 months). Can we sponsor them? Any advice will be useful. Thanks.
