OK here goes. I have been over here in Toronto since September 2011 on a working holiday visa. I found a job that is in a skilled NOC class job. I now have been told by the canadian embassy in Ireland they have renewed my working holiday visa and I am now going to head down the path to residency. Since I have an open work permit to carry me though to Sept 2013 I think if I apply now i should be covered.
My question is this I got advise from an immigration consultant and she told me I should have an LMO for my job. Is it really nessary to get this? As I have valid authorization from CIC to work for any employer in Canada until sept 2013?
