Skilled worker quota

Hello,

Does someone know if there is a quota for the skilled worker visas? I'm trying to make plans for the rest of this year and was wondering when I could expect to finalize my case. Your input is greatly appreciated.

My timeline is as follows:

Applied: Feb 05 at Buffalo
AOR: Mar 05
File transferred to New York: Feb 06
Interview Waived: Feb 06
Medicals sent: Mar 06
FBI clearance, proof of funds and Right for Perm Residence Fee sent: Mar 27, 06

Yes there is, approximately 235K visa per year, 55K SW per year.

How does the quota work? If quota is used up for a particular local office, can they "borrow" from other offices where there is a surplus? Anyone knows of Beijing office's current situation?
