Does anybody know whether there was a skilled worker list during 2005-2008. If so where can I find it? What are the selection criteria? Can anybody give me a a link

No, there wasn't. You just had to have 1 years experience in a job with NOC A, B or O.

So first they introduced 38 occupations in demand and reduced to 29... ok thanks a lot

Hmmm,

Ok you see I am single so only my application needs to be processed.

Then all the points and funds were in order. I sent all the documents to the processing centre at once. No documents were left out. certificates, bank statements, transcripts, police clearance and etc... So the things went pretty fast to my surprise.

On the other hand CIC promised the processing will be done within 6-8 months. So they kept the promise. Only condition they said was 6-8 months if we send the entire documents together.
