Hi, I am working as a psychotherapist and play therapist in Pakistan. I am registered with CPCAB in Canada and Play therapy International. I was wondering what process I need to go through to show these skills on my application. I get that I need to get my credentials assessed but WES does not take professional courses. Where would I send my certifications in these fields to be assessed?

Thanks

What application are you talking about - Express Entry: Federal Skilled Workers program. Have your education assessed by WES or another ECA. Certifications in your field don’t give you additional CRS points. To be a therapist in Canada, you need to be licensed. Again doesn’t give you additional points.

WES does not assess professional degrees. Do you know how else I can get it assessed?
Yes, it is for Express Entry

Mot sure if psychotherapist would be considered a professional degree especially the play therapist part. What is your education history?

I have a masters in educational psychology and have gotten an equivalence to Canadian Masters.

But I was wondering how I can show my practice that I've been in training for for about 4 years on my application.

If it is work experience then put it there with your employment letters.
