Skilled occupation but not certified

Hi,
If I've been working for about a year with a PGWP as a cabinet maker (type B) but I don't have any certification for the trade, (due mainly because as a temporary worker I cannot apply to become an apprentice) is that still counted as a skilled occupation?

Certification is not necessary to count the work as skilled employment for Canadian immigration purposes. You will need to satisfy the immigration officer that you performed more of the duties in the NOC for your occupation while working.

So just to clearify all this. I have a year of work with a PGWP (1 year post-secondary student) as a cabinet maker (skilled type B), my employer is satisfied with my skills and has a written employment offer stating that he wants to employ me for indetermined time, he applied for an LMO (which let us supposed was approved).

And let us suppose too that I pass the english profeciency test with a pretty high mark. My brother is permanent resident too.

Can I apply with good chances of succeding for my Permanent Residence either as a skilled worker or in the Canadian Experience Class?

Your employer will need to described your employment duties in the letter to the immigration officer. That letter must show that you performed most of the duties in the NOC for your occupation.
