elder sister already in canada....is that an issue? ??? i want to be sure if there is any problem with this, she has completed her degree from british columbia and i m going to alberta,,,, does presence of her would affect my chances of visa in any case???

It should not affect your application.I am in canada and my brother applied for his student visa for may intake and he already got his passport request on april 27.As long as you are not hiding anything from CIC on family information form you should not have any issues because if you will lie about your siblings on family info and they can find it later on you will be banned for next 5 years for giving them false information.Then you will not be apply for any canadian visa under any category.I would advice you don't lie to them on anything.
