I got nominated under the Saskatchewan Work Experience-Student Category which was based on my employment and submitted my federal application 8 months ago. However, I lost my job currently. Do you think it will affect my PNP application? What are my other options now?

No it wouldn't. You will get it. As long as u look for another full time job within the province. Make sure you dont leave the province for any reason.
