I am 42 year old, and got 18+ years of experience. I would be applying for SINP but their requirement is for last 10 year experience continuity. Problem is that in last 10 year , there is a gap of one year in which I was self employed means I worked for my wife's firm, which is a proprietor based company with 2-3 employees including me ,my wife and one assistant.can I show that in my experience. Please suggest.

You have no other option, Ask her to write you a reference letter, get pay slips, and any government paper such as tax, social security, insurance to support your position and you just be fine and very valid.

Providing that you are not an owner of course,
