Hello all,

Need an expert advice for a situation.
Actually my SINP ITA came on Sep15 2020. The NOC I applied was 2174.
I submitted ITA response on 13th Nov 2020.
I even secured license for 2174 and shared the doc with SINP ppl. But today I got their email with decision of my application as ineligible due to insufficient funds.
As we had got the ITA in Sep the funds we showed in savings account was lesser in Aug20. However, since Sep it is matching the required minimum requirement. Till Aug 2020, we were parking the excess amount in loan over draft account.
Now i dont know what to do next and how to present my case. Can anyone suggest the next steps.
Thanks

If you applied November 13, you need to show AT LEAST 3 months of funds so that would include August. You need to prove that you had the funds for August.

August 13 - September 13
September 14 - October 13
October 14 - November 13

Thanks for your quick response. Is there a procedure to take this forward? What all additional documents will be required ? If you can guide me through!

What did your letter state? Is it an outright refusal or gives you an opportunity to resubmit new documents. You may need to turn down the nomination and reapply because ineligible and incomplete applications (unless an error by the officer) are usually not reviewed again. Contact SINP and ask. If you want to fight it, you ask for a secondary review which can take up to a year. And given there wasn’t an error in judgement (you didn’t meet the financial requirements), it may be refused again.

It may be best to reapply with a new application. Even for Express Entry, if your application is incomplete then you reapply.
