I and my girlfriend have been lived together for two periods of time. The first period lasted 10 months and the second period starts from August 2018 and is continuing. There is a two years' gap between them, we lived in
different places during the gap time.

I got COPR in February and plan to land in May 2019. I chose single status when I filled the PR application.
In my understanding, I will still be single status when I land since the two years' gap broke the Cohabitation relationship, and the second period has only 9 months in May 2019, which means we will still not be eligible as common-law partners.

Am I correct?

You are correct. You are not common law.
