Hi,

I'm a single mother, living seperately from my husband. However, I'm not legally seperated. I've a passport for myself and for my daughter. My husband name is included in my passport. His name is also included in my daughter's passport as legal guarding/father. My husband does not want to apply for a legal seperation for the fear of societal stigma; however, he does not have any qualms about my plans to immigrate to Canada along with my 3-year-old daughter. He is pretty much willing to cooperate in this regard. Would it be enough if my husband gives a notorized letter stating his no-objection in letting me go along with my daughter? Please clarify how we can manage to get Canadian PR.

Many thanks

Parry

Hi pary
My situation is similar as URs.i applied as single father with my 2 daughters 5 & 3 Y/old. i think my ex wife will not refuse to give a notarized documents for kids and it's enough to get acceptance for VO. in UR case U just explain UR ex husband about application & divorce certificate politely.do UR best effort patiently.
Have submitted UR initial application what about UR IELTS score ??
wish U the best
