First of all like to say that its a great forum. I have a question today that I like to ask. After you land, what is the deadline to apply for Social insurance number. We already landed and came back to settle things here and will return to canada within a year. We totally forgot to apply for SIN. What will happen. Is there a deadline after you become PR ?

yes at any time you can apply for it no worry you just have to show them your permanent residency card along with a few other things and you will be fine. No need to worry here there is absolutely no deadline
