I've been going through the posts to check out answers to 2 simple questions :)

1) How many statutory declarations are needed (letters from friends and family) are needed?

2) How did you submit the 'bundle' of papers to immigrations? Can this be done on a clear book (organizer with plastic sheets) or mere 'paper-clipping' the bundles together is enough? Just want to make sure that the immigrations officers wont miss out on anything or no pieces of papers would be misplaced in transit.

Can you please share your experiences? Would be more than happy.. :)

Thanks

You need two if you are not married. If you are married, you don't need any, but can include them if you feel you don't have enough evidence. Having more than you need won't hurt. Extra letters of support could also just be letters or emails.

CIC doesn't want things put in binders or organizers. Most people just paper clip everything together in bundles. If you keep everything but photos to A4 size paper (i.e., photocopy receipts, boarding passes, and other little pieces) they'll be less likely to get lost. AS well, it is good to number your supporting documents and attach a table of contents to them explaining what everything is.

If you're going to have a lot of paper, a large binder clip is the way to go. You can get them at any office supply store and they function just like big paper clips. The big ones can hold stack of papers up to an inch thick and they are very sturdy, nothing will fall out.

Thank you so much for your helpful pieces of advice!

A question that just came up: since all our pictures are in softcopy (digital camera) I was thinking of just pasting this in word format and printing about 4 pics in one sheet. Is this possible or do they require pics printed in photopaper and one per page?

Thanks again

Many people on here have printed them a few to a page with captions and everything and had no issues, I believe.
