Hello,
We are a family of two adults and a child. I am planning to send my paper application alone and another package for my wife and child. So, we are submitting two separate applications. The reason for this separate submission is that I don’t want one application delay to impact the other one. For example, my background check might take longer than my wife so it will delay her. My questions are :

1) can we submit two separate applications within short time for example I send my application today and my wife’s application tomorrow?

2) my wife wants me to be her representative . In this case, who should sign the minor application? My wife or me

I really appreciate your help

Thanks

1) Yes that should be fine
2) Your wife should sign the minor's application...she's the applicant... representative means you have access to her file with IRCC and she authorizes you to help / represent her
