Signing application and sending a couple months later

So let's say I have my application signed few weeks ago, but not I need to do the IELTS test and will probably get the test result in a few weeks.

Can I just send the application that I signed a while back (maybe 2 month in the past now) or does the signature need to be fresh and I need to redo the app and the calculator .. etc?

That would mean you do not have proof of language proficiency at the time you signed the application, so you cannot say yes to the relevant question.
