Hello,

My name is Santiago and i am from Spain. I have a WHV temporary work permit valid until September 2020. I have a job offer in a bison ranch in BC and i wanted to ask a few questions about it:

-What do i need for signing a contract? is it enough with my visa document and my passport?
-do i need to have a Canadian bank account?
-what can i do to extend my visa after it expires in September, if i have still a proposition for continuing with my job?
-Will it help to have a job offer to apply for a Permanent Residence?

Thank you very much for any possible help.

1. Requirements to sign a contract depend on what the people signing agree to.

2. Not to sign a contract.

3. The employer needs an LMIA.

4. To count as a job offer, the employer needs an LMIA. You still have to meet a lot of other requirements.

It would be a basic full time job contract as a Ranch Foreman. Would it be enough with a SIN number, work permit and ID? What makes a contract to be valid an official? I am a bit confused about this.
-My employer will need a LMIA even if i have a Young Proffesionals temporary work permit? Me and my employer were planning on requesting one of those after my WHV expires this September.
-Also another question I have is: What are the requirements for a job offer to be official for using it as a document to request a work permit? Is it any official form for it?

Thank you very much for your fast answer and the help.

Just Google the basics of an employment contract. It doesn't have to be complicated.

If you qualify for a YP permit, you can apply.

There is no official form for a job offer.

Note that to qualify as a job offer to get the points for a PR app, the employer needs an LMIA or you need one full year of work experience on the closed work permit.
