I was an international student, then a PGWP holder and have done couple of tax return. So I have used sign-in partner with TD, and one of the CRA agent said it's impossible to use this TD account with my old SIN. Luckily I recently added Tangerine account and did it successfully with my PR SIN, but as TD is my main bank, I'm still hoping to get it back. Has anyone had this kind of issue and can give me some advice? Was he really right? Everytime I called any operators there are several different answers.

There are many stuffs in the thread and websites with this sign-in partner problem (Error 041) I've tried, but I confirmed that sign-in partner log in using the previous SIN can never be used. You'd need another log-in banking account or log in another way, according to the two CRA operators.

You need to create a new account for new SIN. You won't be able to use old account information or signin partner. I just did this ast week.
