Hi friends

We (2 Adult one 2 years old child) land in Vancouver airport on 24'th of Aug. we have 27000 CAD with ourself. I am confused with the 10000 CAD rule (that one with more than 10,000 CAD should declare it through E677 form).

The question is it is 3 of us so we can have 30,000 CAD, each 10,000. But in real case my 2 years old child cannot carry money and apparently I am carrying it (So I carry more than 10,000). So should I fill out the form?

Next question should we provide evidence of origin of the money that we carry? It is very hard to provide that at this point and I want to know should I be worry about providing evidence of origin of the money?

Thanks

Hi

I do not know if they ask you any declaration from where this money has come.

As I read on CIC website Canada welcome you as much as money you bring in for your settlement. So why do you have worry to declare that you are bringing xyz amount instead of thinking 10000 each. declaring is better for you and a must as a rule.
