Hello.
Me ( Polish ) And my husband (Kenyan ) live in UAE at the moment. We want to move to Canada this year. My Husband is HR manager and I'm a Hairstylist. As my husband can't find work in his field, we decided that we are leaving UAE in June and going to Poland for few months.
Would it be better for us to apply for Express Entry ( My husband is work group "0" and I'm group "B" so it shouldn't be problem to get it. ) OR it would be easier if we went for a visit to Canada and my husband attend some interviews and get a work permit when he finds a job offer ?
Which option is better/ faster ? We are planning to stay in Canada for many years , not just temporarily.

Thank you for any input.

It's typically extremely difficult to find an employer in Canada willing to go through the work permit process to hire a foreign worker. To hire a foreign worker, the employer must go through a very long and expensive process - and also prove there were no Canadians who could be hired for the role. Your husband can certainly come to Canada and try to find a job - however I think the chances of this being successful are extremely low.

As for Express Entry, what matters is how many points you have under the program out of 1200. So far no one with less than 450 points has been selected. And recently, only those in the 465+ points range have been selected. You need to calculate your points to understand what your chances are of being selected. If you are only starting the process now and haven't completed the language test requirements or gotten your education officially assessed, moving to Canada this year may be an unrealistic target.
