Hi All

I am applying for super visa for my mother . As part of the application there is a question asking whether the applicant has been refused a visa or permit to any country

My mother was rejected a US Vlistor visa 6 months ago when her elder daughter applied on her behalf . Should I let them know about this rejection and will it impact her super visa application

Her reason for the US tourist visa rejection was her younger daughter (19 years) was the primary applicant and she was rejected visa on grounds that the officer was not convinced she would return , and hence my mother's visa was also rejected

Your thoughts would be helpful

Yes you need to mention it otherwise if the ircc find out they will banned you for misrepresentation.

It would be prudent to mention it. If you don’t and they discover that she was denied a B1/B2 she can be denied under misrepresentation and a 5 yr ban. You can mention the clause of rejection and state the reason if you feel the need to clarify.
