Hello all,

I've submitted my study permit together with my husband's open work permit in Jan via the website of CIC, yet we haven't received any information until now... The communication from the embassy is rare and none useful information was provided.

So I'm wondering is it a good idea to withdraw my current application and re-submit our application via VAC? There is a shortcut for Chinese students called SDS, which issues study permit in a very short time.

Thank you very much in advance...

You can do that but its not advisable.

As it can have a negative effect on your file . You should wait and give embassy proper time to process your application.

believe me..everyone has own experiences... some online applicants get response with in two weeks some didnt get after 2 months.... some paper application took a month while some people waiting for long..
dont do such mistake...if you reagain apply for study permit...again they will take your own time....
when your classes will be held???
