After being international students for 2 years, I have become a PR (family class). However, I wonder if I should update my PR status to my bank in order to increase my credit card's limit.

I have had my credit card for 2 months and they only allow me to use like $1k. I think because they have my status as an international student so they won't let me use more than 1000.00

Any idea should or shouldn't I do it. Thank you very much. I need to build up my credit for future spending.

Well, Definitely, you should update your bank about your change of status in the country. That will definitely ease some restrictions on you. Good Luck
