Hey guys,

I have just completed my CELPIP, and I was wondering if I should submit my EE profile so that I get into the pool now, then update my details as I get more? - It's not very clear if I can do this?

For example I haven't got my university degree assessed yet, and my employer hasn't submitted an LMIA to go with the job offer her has made me?

I am currently here on IEC for 2 years, and my employer has asked me to stay on, and we're still trying to figure out whether he needs to get me an LMIA. My IEC ends in a few months, and I only just got my job offer now and decided I wanted to stay! Cutting it real close with the deadlines.

Any help is appreciated, I've also submitted my request to the owner of this website to see what he says.
Regards,
Chris.

Assuming you don't have a Canadian degree, you cannot claim points for education without an ECA. Without those points, your profile will likely be ineligible. I would recommend that you create your EE profile only after you get both your CELPIP report and ECA.

As for the LMIA, it is not mandatory. If your CRS score is high enough, you won't need the 50 points that an LMIA would give you.

You can submit your EE profile and update as necessary. However, if you do not have a Canadian degree, you cannot claim points for your degrees without an ECA. Without those points, I would guess it's unlikely you'll have enough points for an ITA.
