Should I spend money on retaking IELTS to improve my current score of 450?

You can watch this Friday to see if we have a draw and if we have one, then you are very likely to get picked up. If we do not have then it is a clear indication that the scores have already hit rock bottom and CIC wants to maintain the same level and they are in no hurry to go below this level. If there is a scope of improvement in your scores, even few points, then I would suggest you to take up.

wait for 2 fridays i should say....

or else take earliest possible date if you think you can improve... but i think its not needed with 450 in your pocket.... just wait you will get ita....

Book a slot for September. They let you cancel but you lose 50% of the test fee. If you get an ITA in August, cancel the test. If not, write it to see if you can improve your CRS.

You should, I retook the test and got ITA a few days after submitting my new scores. You will never know if you don't try what possibilities lie ahead. Better to be prepared than to live with regrets

What is your score? Is it below CLB 9 in any of the sections?

Can you provide a breakdown of your score

Age:
Education:
Language
Skills Transferability:

Also, do you have a spouse? What were the points attributed to spouse?

Looks like no chance to increase any more. Play with CRS tool and you will see.

Well, I am amending the post.. You will see a marginal increase.
Above statement is only true for skills transferability.
