Should I inform IRCC after I renewed my study permit?

Hi friends, I have applied for PR in October 2021, through the Common-law Sponsorship. I was holding a Study Permit at that time. However, my SP has expired in November 2021. I have extended my SP, and the new expiry date is in November 2022.
My question is, should I inform IRCC about the update of my SP through the webform? I have just received the FN today and linked the application.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1. Think it through. Who do you think issued your SP? CIC, right, They know your SP was renewed.
