Hi everybody,

Do you know if one have to have the required settling funds ready BEFORE create the Express Entry profile (Since they ask you the amount of money you'll bring to CA)? I'm still trying to save enough to make it through the process, and I was wondering if I can create one without having enough funds (Yet), in the scenario that they send me an ITA and I have to send bank statements.

Thanks in advance

You don't need the funds at the time of creation of your profile. You only need to say that you will bring in atleast the minimum requirements for the number of applicants that are applying under one profile. It is safer to round it off to the next higher whole number.

You will need to provide proof of funds (equal to or more than) the minimum amount required for your application once you submit your documents post receipt of an ITA.

This is true, however do keep in mind that you will have to show proof of fund documentation when you submit your application. If there is a large dump-in of money just before submission and no gift deed to show where it came from, CIC will likely ask questions.

Correct on all counts.
