Should I get my visa renewed after receiving my PGWP confirmation letter?

Should I get a new visa in my passport? Because I might need to go out of Canada for some days and come back in.

I was on student visa when I applied for the PGWP

If its expired you need to renew if you want to return to canada at some point, if the old one is valid it can still be used. Generally you need the actual pgwp document to get a new trv but some have been successful with just the letter.
