Hi there, I know a lot about Express Entry (where I currently have 457 points) but not much about BC PNP. I could have 122 points in BC PNP if I entered the pool today. Should I enter the pool so I have additional 600 points in EE (if selected)?

Not so easy, here's my case: I'm in implied status right now, which will expire in about a month (my work permit extension will be denied). Do I have enough time to be selected from BC PNP? After I'm selected, can I continue working (because I've been in implied status already) in Canada? ???

Pros and cons in my case? Thank you so much!

If you applied for a work permit extension when you did not qualify for one, you should be aware that CIC is now rejecting these applications (rather than refusing them). What this means is that you will be considered out of status in Canada from the day your original work permit expired (no implied status). This also means that any work you complete after the expiry of your original work permit will be classified as unauthorized work and you won't be able to count it as work experience towards Express Entry or any other Canadian immigration program.

So if I quickly apply and they choose me in the next round, I should avoid this, no? Btw what is the difference between "rejecting" and "refusing" in terms of law?... Thanks!
