When I applied two years back, I sent my latest pics with beard alongwith application. but my passport was having a pic without beard since i had not grown the beard when i made mt passport. Now how critical is it that i should have latest pic with beard on my passport or its fine the way it is. Also my kids specially the youngest one who was 4 at the time I made his passport is now 71/2 yrs, how about his pics. Pls suggest.
Thanks

Seniors .......badar14, PMM, Wilson, coolguy, pittabread, cuppicino, scylia, devilhimself,..... pls suggest as I have not come across any thread with this issue on this forum yet ! Thanks

they do not look or keep concern about the passport pics. if the passport is genuine then definitely your pic is genuine. they only check your name + photo + passport expiry date+ citizenship+DOB. they ask for latest photographs those 6 photographs with white background . no need to change your pic and your kids in the passports if you passports are still valid. if you are in the progress of launched application and if they do need you to change the passport pics, VO will definitely ask you to do it however i think thats fine. these are assumptions about immigration authorities that they look into people beards blah blah...

In my sense, it's safe to update your respective visa office with a letter explaining the facial change you had, include your latest picture with passport copies. Don't change passport.
